Adelaar is an old Dutch Schooner, which has been fully restored and updated with a modern interior, and all the latest safety and navigational equipment. She is well maintained, very clean, and western run to German/American standards. The varnished wood throughout the interior of the ship makes it a truly classic vessel, with a warm intimate feeling.
Our western managers are onboard for every trip, and can customize your dive itinerary, based on the conditions of the sea and the group’s experience level and expectations, whether it is macro photography or diving with mantas. They will be your dive guides to the amazing underwater world of the KomodoNational Park. Both are experts in the area, and strive to make sure you are completely satisfied, not only with the diving, but with the entire dive vacation on the ship.
Adelaar is German owned, and has been operating in Indonesia for the last 9 years. Her local Captain and crew are quite capable of accommodating European and American guests. The Captain knows the area and the seas of our sailing routes, so you can feel confident that you are in safe hands. Our crew of 10, are happy to help in any way they can to make this a wonderful trip for you and your friends. Most important of all, our cooks are two of the best in all of Indonesia, and mealtimes are an event not to be missed! While this vessel may look “steel like” (which she is) is is one of the more deluxe vessels working the Bali-Komodo-Bali Market.
This fine Yacht has just completed a 2 year refit and re-entered the market in 2013.

Main salon seats up to 20 passengers for meals, with good reading lights for relaxing in the evening with a good book. Plenty of shaded deck space, with backrest and padded cushions for reading or relaxing. Sun Bathing on the upper deck and foredeck. Shaded aft deck with seating. |
